THE SEA

This lucky situation, responsible of great fishes’ variety on the local market,too; had allowed that Porto Cesareo become national marine Park and immersions offers wonderful sets lived from crustaceans, molluscs, multicoloures fishes and fascinating turtles.

The beauty of these sets reach the top when the ray of sun light comes into the marine caves of this zone, remains of a karstification visible by the “spunnulate”.

THE EARTH

The Arneo is the kingdom of the secular olive tree and of the most esteemeed wines.

So is visible like this earth, even with the intervention of men, cultivated and lived, is again deeply attached at natural elements that deeply influenced the lifestyle of the people of Salento.

But this zone propose much parts of natural ambient integral, too: woods, coastal fields,canals of surgive water.

The rest of this zone is made by Mediterranean vegetation, by big farm areas and uncultivated areas used for pasturage.

So it is an extremely diversified ambient that become more and more rich thanks to micro and macro habitats of great naturalistic interest.
